Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, but I was surprised that they charged my credit card the night before check-in, something I hadn't encountered before. The service was exceptional with extremely friendly and helpful staff, but the location was a bit sketchy and loud throughout the night.
The hotel's rooms left much to be desired as they were very uncomfortable. However, they eventually provided us with some breakfast grab bags. The service had its ups and downs: they wouldn't call me at first and seemed unhappy and non-approachable, but they quickly helped sort out the issues and even hooked me up with a room on the top floor at no extra charge. The location was a bit problematic as it would have been nice if you were planning on walking into Westport, but there are plenty of great places to eat nearby. On the bright side, for us, the location was perfect. The dining experience had its high points, offering a nice omelette station and custom-made omelets, but it fell short in some areas. The facilities were on point and we will be back.
I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the hotel. The location was amazing, right in the heart of the Westport district, close to the vibrant nightlife and top-quality restaurants. The rooms were decent, but cleanliness could have been better. The service was friendly, although a bit lacking in certain areas. The dining options were decent, especially with the build-your-own omelet bar, but there was room for improvement. The facilities were adequate, and overall, it was a good value for the money.
My stay at this hotel was a mixed bag. While the rooms were somewhat ordinary and basic, they did have interesting large prints of the plaza in years past. The service was a bit of a hit and miss - some staff members were very polite, while others weren't very friendly. The location was convenient, close to UMKC and surrounded by various dining options, even though it was noisy due to the street intersection. The dining experience was nice, but the morning hours were limited. Overall, the hotel had its ups and downs.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. I loved the unique decoration with murals of old Kansas City and the reasonable breakfast included, along with two free drinks during happy hour. However, the AC was so loud that it had to be taken out of service, which was a downside.
My stay at the hotel had some positives like the professional and accommodating service but also some disappointments such as the A/C not working well and the dining experience. The location, though spacious and clean, had some drawbacks like being next to the elevator and a bit sketchy in the area.
